Laser Vein Treatments in San Diego

Laser energy can be applied over the skin's surface to reduce the prominence or eliminate the appearance of spider veins, which commonly form on the legs and face. During laser vein treatment, patients typically experience slight discomfort, as though a small rubber band is snapping the treated area. However, no anesthetic is needed, and the procedure is not generally considered to be a painful one. Immediately after laser vein treatment, the spider veins will actually be more visible than they were before. Over the next several weeks, though, they will fade rapidly. Usually, approximately three treatments are necessary for Jessica Davis, RN, or Heather Tellis, RN,  under the supervision of Dr. Mofid, to shrink the spider veins to the point at which they are no longer visible.
